Tujuan Murmuxmon sebenarnya adalah untuk membangkitkan Ornithmon Digimon yang pada jaman dahulu telah dikalahkan oleh AncientGreymon dan AncientGarurumon. Disana mereka di hadang oleh Death-X-DORUghoramon yang kemudian dikalahkan oleh Alphamon, di ruangan Yggdrasil mereka menghadapi Death-X-mon. Omegamon ternyata tidak bisa mengalahkannya dan dia tertangkap oleh Death-X-mon, Alphamon kemudian berubah menjadi Alphamon Ouryuuken untuk mengalahkan Death-X-mon sekaligus mengorbankan dirinya karena ia tahu bahwa Death-X-mon adalah bayangannya dan tidak ada cara lain untuk mengalahkannya selain mengorbankan dirinya, sebelum dia menghilang dia memberikan X-Antibody miliknya kepada Omegamon yang merubahnya menjadi Omegamon X yang akhirnya mengalahkan Yggdrasil dan me'reset' dunia digital.
